The Church & Iconography

Architecture

The church is a single-nave domed building in the Serbo-Byzantine style. The bell tower with its three bells was added in 1936.

Iconostasis and Frescoes

The carved iconostasis was made by a renowned woodcarving workshop, and its icons were painted in the Byzantine manner. The frescoes were completed in two phases between 1955 and 1972.
